Dear Friends,

I humbly offer "Identity and Ancestral
Heritage<http://www.youtube.com/user/NativePerspectives#p/a/u/0/-PVZmEM7GSU>"
(2:11), featuring Shawn Yanity (Stillaguamish). Yanity speaks to the
question of why practicing the traditional culture of his people is
important, and he shares how he has personally gained a deeper understanding
of who he is as a result of reconnecting with his ancestral heritage.

Sustainability is usually focused on the future, but the lessons, values and
ways of our past may provide a rich set of answers to what our orientation
should be as we move forward.

Enjoy,
Dave
