Website upgrade and the near future of NPS

[Native Perspectives on Sustainability]

Dear Friends,

I am pleased to announce an update of the Native Perspectives on
Sustainability: Voices from Salmon Nation website.  Check it out, and please
share your thoughts on further opportunities to improve the site:

A special thanks to Cliff Miller for his extensive efforts to improve the
functionality and layout of the site, especially the homepage and videos
page. Thank you, Cliff!

A few other items are on the horizon for NPS, including:
- an interview on KBOO radio Monday (8/16) morning sometime between 9 and
10am
- a new Facebook page to replace the current Facebook group
- a new video clip or two

Additionally, in September my wife and I will take 9 months to live and
travel in South America.  We will be in Ecuador, Peru and Bolivia, and I
greatly look forward to the opportunity to experience and learn from the
rich and vital indigenous cultures of those areas.  The NPS project will
officially be on hold through this time, but I plan to loosely stay in touch
and share some of our experiences.
