I am please to present "Use of the Term
'" featuring Larry Merculieff (Aleut). Merculieff critiques the use and
meaning of the term "sustainability," and he speaks to the potential for us
as human beings to draw upon our inherent intelligence to live in alignment
with all of creation.
I am also eager to recommend "Shadow of the
which Salmon Defense <http://www.salmondefense.org/> presents as: "The story
of a young man from Lakota Nation who comes to the Pacific Northwest to
visit his Coastal Salish relatives. During his visit, he experiences many
things, and learns much about salmon and the Northwest environment. He
witnesses the annual Canoe Journey and helps respond to an oil spill in the
river." Worthy of dedicating an evening to watch with a friend.
