Dear Friends,

I'm pleased to announce the release of the initial set of a series of
video clips featuring indigenous leaders sharing their thoughts on the
subject of sustainability.

"Personal Restoration <>"
featuring Roberta "Bobbie" Conner (Cayuse). Conner speaks to the
importance of developing intimate relationships with local landscapes
and other species.

"Asking the Right Questions
featuring Larry Merculieff (Aleut). Merculieff suggests that
understanding how to address the problems we have created requires
deliberative processes where we ask the right questions, look inward
at ourselves and engage in dialogue with diverse perspectives.

"Value in Long-Term Relationships
<>" featuring Jeannette
Armstrong (Syilx). Armstrong speaks to the loss of community endured
by Native and non-Native peoples and the value of building long-term
relationships with people and place.

Additional clips will be released periodically throughout the coming
months. Efforts to help distribute these clips are greatly
appreciated. Connect with Native Perspectives on Sustainability
